The Story of Pure Maple Syrup
There is something truly magical and unique about maple syrup.
Our maple syrup goes on a tree to table journey starting in our northern forests, where the world’s finest syrup is born. Maple sap is taken straight from the trees as they wake up for spring. Then comes the careful art of turning sap into syrup. The sap is vigorously boiled, a process that has remained largely unchanged for centuries.

We are proud to showcase the many talented maple syrup producers from across our beautiful state. They provide the very best quality maple syrup for all to enjoy! At Sugarman, we source our maple syrup from a variety of Vermont and Canadian producers, some of which we have worked with for over 10 years.

Nebraska Knoll Sugarhouse – Stowe, VT
Nebraska Knoll Sugar Farm is family owned and operated by the Coty family; they have sugared since 1980. They are situated in the heart of the Green Mountains, near Mount Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak.

Malletts’s Creek – Milton, VT
Malletts Creek Sugar Works “taps” into one of Vermont’s oldest traditions… maple sugaring! They have produced pure local Vermont maple syrup since 1991, and have provided high quality syrup to Sugarman for a few years now. And we’re hoping for many more!

Mt Bucket Maple – Walden, VT
Mt Bucket Maple, located in Walden, VT, was founded by Matt Willey, and they have been tapping trees since 2012. This 1st generation maple sugaring business taps around 4800 trees every season, and they are proud to use the traditional wood fired method for their boiling operation.
