Our History
Sugarman of Vermont was founded in 1991 by Tony Sedutto. In 2012, he handed the reins to his daughter Kerry. The Seduttos set the standard for Sugarman as a company, focused on quality, customer service, and community.
In 2019, the company was purchased by Taglich Private Equity, an investment group that has helped significantly with our growth! To learn more about them, click here:

Why Maple Syrup?
Maple syrup has become a fundamental, all-natural sweetener known for its distinctive flavor and beneficial vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Pure maple contains zero high fructose corn syrup, chemical additives, or artificial flavors/sweeteners of any kind. Unlike artificial table syrups, 100% pure maple syrup is a delicious, healthful option that can be used in all your favorite recipes!
A Vermont Staple
Where the world’s finest syrup is born.
Vermont generates over 50 percent of the
country’s maple syrup, more than any other
state. Warm spring days usher in the start
of maple season when the sap starts
flowing! The sap is collected from trees and
vigorously boiled down, a process that
has remained unchanged for centuries.
Oh yeah, and we put maple syrup in our coffee here!
